Terms of Sale
Items will be shipped when
payment is received and verified.
Change
orders
You may request a change to your order, provided
your order has not already been charged. Please call
during business hours to change your order. Please
always have your order number ready. Please never
request a change order via e-mail as we may not receive
it in time.
Cancel
orders
You may request a cancellation of your order,
provided your order has not already been processed
and shipped. Please call during our business hours
to cancel your order. If your account has already
been charged, you will receive a credit back to your
account. Please never request a cancel order via e-mail
as we may not receive it in time.
Processing
time
You can expect your order to be processed within
approximately one to two "business" days,
provided the items are in stock and there are no problems
with the payment verification. Greenville Media does
not guarantee same day shipping. Orders will not be
processed on weekends and holidays
Order
status
Greenville Media will do everything possible
to keep you informed of your order via e-mail. Your
tracking number will be emailed to you when the item
is shipped.
Shipping
and Handling
We reserve the right to ship
complete. All orders will be shipped UPS unless otherwise
specified.
Your total cost for purchase of any product will include
shipping and handling charges shown on the Greenville
Media invoice.
Freight Shortages or Damages
All shipments must be inspected
carefully before signing the freight bill. The customer
must note all damage, shortage, or loss directly on
the freight bill. Concealed damage is the responsibility
of the customer and must be reported to the carrier
at time of equipment delivery. Failure to do so places
responsibility for loss with the customer. The customer
must take necessary steps to obtain carrier damage
inspection reports. Greenville Media's Customer Service
department must be notified at 864-325-2781 so that
we can help the customer obtain a claim settlement.
Sales tax
Sales tax is only required for orders shipping within
South Carolina.
Item testing
Like any other retailers, all items are shipped as
we received from the manufacturers. Greenville Media
does not test any item.
Physical
damage policy
Physical damage to any product purchased at Greenville
Media will effectively void all warranties.
Physical damage includes but is
not limited to improper handling and/or any other
type of damage sustained by irregular usage.
Technical
support
For most products, please contact the original manufacturer
for assistance. Greenville Media does provide technical
support on some products.
Privacy
Greenville Media respects your privacy. We will not
under any circumstances sell or release your information
to anyone. All of the information obtained from our
web site will be used for processing purposes only.
The only e-mails you will receive from Greenville
Media are updates on any recent orders.
Resellers
Unfortunately, we do not currently have a reseller
or discount program available at this time. Greenville
Media currently already negotiates the best possible
price for you, and offers these discounts to all of
our customers through our web site. Anytime we receive
specials or promotions, we will immediately post them
on our web site for you to take advantage of.
• Tax: All customers outside
of South Carolina will not be charged any tax. Therefore,
there is no need to fax or set up any reseller tax
exemption form.
• For South Carolina Resellers: please place
your first order as normal, and fax over your reseller
permit and this form with your Sales Order number.
We will remove all tax from your order.
Greenville
Media Satisfaction Guarantee
Greenville Media offers our customers a 30-day
satisfaction replacement or refund guarantee on all
purchases.
However, to take advantage of Greenville
Media's return guarantee policy, Customer agrees to
comply with Greenville Media's Product Return Procedure
as stated below. Any breach of Greenville Media's
Return Policy Procedure will result in the loss of
Greenville Media's replacement/return guarantee. Furthermore,
all return shipments not in compliance with these
instructions will be rejected.
Product Return Procedure
• To return a product based upon Greenville
Media's replacement/return guarantee, you must obtain
a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA")
number within 30 days, by calling 864-325-2781. Greenville
Media will not accept returns without prior authorization
and an RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid
for 15 days within which return products must be received
by Greenville Media. RMA numbers will not be extended
or reissued. Customer should prominently display the
RMA number(s) on the shipping label of boxes containing
the returned product.
• Customer is solely responsible
for shipping any returned product to Greenville Media.
Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers capable
of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the
entire value of the shipment. Customer agrees to bear
all shipping charges and all risk of loss for the
return product during shipment. Customer agrees that
all returned products will be 100% complete, in resellable
condition, and will include the original packaging
material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other
accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any component
of the returned product is missing, Greenville Media's
Return Procedure will be breached and Greenville Media
will reject the entire return or may choose to impose
additional charges against the customer for replacement
of the missing component.
• Greenville Media will not
refund to Customer the original shipping charges.
In addition, Greenville Media will assess a 25% restocking
fee against the Customer's account on all returns
for refund.
Warranties
Greenville Media is a distributor only. Products sold
by Greenville Media are not manufactured by Greenville
Media. The products may, however, be covered by each
manufacturer's warranty, service, and support policy
(if any). Greenville Media assigns and passes through
to the Customer any warranty of the manufacturer,
and Customer acknowledges that it shall have recourse
only under such warranties and only as against the
manufacturer of the products. Greenville Media MAKES
NO REPRESENTATION OR EXPRESS WARRANTY WITH RESPECT
TO THE PRODUCT EXCEPT THOSE STATED IN THIS DOCUMENT.
Greenville Media DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, AS TO ANY SUCH PRODUCT, INCLUDING AND
WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTIES ARISING FROM STATUTE, TRADE USAGE, COURSE
OF DEALING, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
Limitation
of Liability
In all circumstances, Greenville Media's maxiumum
liability is the limited to the purchase price of
the products sold. Greenville Media shall not, under
any circumstances, be liable upon a claim or action
in contract, tort, indemnity or contribution, or other
claims relating to the products it sells which exceeds
this liability limit. Greenville Media shall not be
liable for third party claims for damages against
the customer, or for malfunction, delays, interruption
of service, loss of business, loss or damage to exemplary
damages, whether or not Greenville Media is apprised
of the possbility of such claims or damages.
General
terms and conditions
Payment Terms, Orders: An order is not binding upon
Greenville Media until it is accepted; Greenville
Media must receive payment before it will accept an
order. Payment for product(s) ordered is due prior
to shipment. Customer can make payment by cash, check,
or some other method prearranged with Greenville Media.
You agree to pay the amount(s) due as specified on
the invoice, and you agree to pay interest on all
past-due sums at a rate of 1.5% per month or the highest
rate allowed by law, whichever is greater.
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions, together with the Greenville
Media's invoice respecting the products ordered by
Customer, are the complete and exclusive agreement
between Greenville Media and Customer, and they supersede
all prior or contemporaneous proposals, oral or written,
understandings, representations, conditions, warranties,
and all other communications between Greenville Media
and Customer relating to the subject products. This
agreement may not be explained or supplemented by
any prior course of dealings or trade by custom or
usage.
